Born in Taiwan and based in Sydney, Sherry Hsiao is the founder and director of Sherry Music Academy and has a great deal of expertise and international experiences to offer to her SAM students.

 

Sherry holds Bachelor of Music with Honors at the Soochow University in Taiwan, and Master of Music with Honors & Graduate Assistant scholarship at the Morehead State University in the USA, and pursuit her Doctoral of Musical Arts studied with Teaching Assistant Scholarship at the University of Kentucky in the USA.

 

 

With 25 years of teaching experiences in Piano & Violin Performance, Sherry also has had a long and varied expertise as a violinist, She has performed for many international chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras as concert master, pianist, and conductor.

Sherry also regularly performs for charity concert for several organisations every year.  

 

Sherry is a dynamic and passionate music educator, enjoy to coordinating, conducting and teaching string ensembles and group lessons in a number of schools, as well as private tuition to over 1000 students across the USA, Taiwan, and Sydney, early childhood, primary, secondary, tertiary and adults.
